One of the causes of infertility is Polycystic ovary syndrome. This affects almost every part of a female's body. It is caused by making up of multiple fluids filled cysts in the ovaries which lead to irregular or missed periods, hormonal imbalances and complications in the heart and blood vessels. A medical practitioner generally evaluates a combination of clinical findings such as a woman's signs and symptoms, medical and family history, physical examinations as well as laboratory test results which help him to establish some diagnosis. Some testing is done to rule the possibilities causing PCOS.
