Stool Reducing Substance Questions

Hello, I am suffering from diarrhoea since 3 days. I use to take milk before stool, there was cramping pain in the abdomen and stool was offensive, and I felt relieved after stool. Please prescribe any HOMOEOPATHIC remedy.

Hello, do keep yourself hydrated. Boil water add some sugar n salt and drink it at frequent intervals. Have a soft diet khichadi rice dal for 1-2 days. Eat fruits like apple banana. Drink fruit/ lemon juice. Avoid milk products for 1-2 days. Reduce tea n coffee. Consult me online on Lybrate for medicines and further consultation.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem is due to constipation & pain could be due to a fissure in ano - have more of fibre containing foods such as fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains instead of refined ones, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, nuts such as almonds, walnuts, pista, cashews, peanuts, chia & sesame seeds - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk foods - have plenty of oral fluids including 8-10 glasses of water for proper hydration & bowel movement - mix a tablespoon of isabgol powder in a glass of warm water & have it in the morning & one at night an hour before bedtime - apply lox 2% gel before & after defecation to reduce pain - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga for proper digestion & to keep fit.

I was having semi solid to mushy stools which looked greenish since a month. Since 3 days I have started taking psyllium husk powder after dinner and now my stools are better but the look like rubber or a jelly like substance. Half of my stool has a very dark colour. Why is all this happening? Please help coz I fear it might be colorectal cancer.

Stop googling, it is not cancer. You have a mild infection. Take enterogerminia one vial every day for 5 days. Take curd (homemade) every day.

I have a burning sensation while passing stool. Last week I had a swelling near my opening of my anal region. Now pain is reduced but. From yesterday when I pass stool it's difficult. Please guide me. I am working on ship. So can't go to a clinic.

Dear, It appears that you have anal fissure and it is due to constipation which is not a disease but life style problem. Treat constipation: increase fluid intake, take high fiber and high residue diei, take emolient laxative like creamaffin plus 1 tsf at night along with isabgol powder 3-4 tsf in 300 ml of water at night, increase physical activity in form of regular walking, games or exercises. Apply zincal ointment in side anus before passing stools and also avoid taking painkillers. If brning is severe then take sitz' bath: sitting in tub full of warm water for 15-20 minutes

I m42 years I morning I am going to toilet 3to4 times first two time my stool is solid but after that my stool become like water due to which I feel weakness in body and my weight is also reducing.

You have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs, chew food properly/ completely, no eating quickly 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. Caffeine, 6. No smoking, chewing gum, and carbonated beverages. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibupani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day 9. Do not drink/ store water in plastic bottles. 10 .relax and walk for 30 mts daily 11. Take enough rest- do not lie down immediately after eating. Take dinner 3 hrs before sleeping. No late nights 11. Keep your weight under control. 13. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol. 15. Reduce physical and mental stress. Maintain healthy life style.
