About Acenac 100 MG Tablet
Acenac 100 MG Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to treat pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
This drug works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes which make chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage causing pain, swelling and inflammation.
The side effects of this drug include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, flatulence, constipation, dyspepsia, drowsiness, confusion, etc. You should not be taking Acenac 100 MG Tablet if –
- You are allergic to this drug or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
- You ever had a problem with stomach or duodenal bleeding.
- You have a heart condition or impaired kidney or liver function.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding woman.
