Anset syrup belongs to the antiemetics drug group which helps in treating nausea as well as vomiting, caused by surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. This medication blocks the chemical serotonin from releasing in your gut and your central nervous system.
If you are allergic to this syrup and other medications that block serotonin, along with other allergies, you must visit a doctor. The doctor must also know about the medical history of yours that whether you had problems such as liver disease, irregular heartbeat and stomach or intestinal problems in the past. If you are undergoing treatment for depression or any psychiatric disorder, you must discuss it with your doctor.
The dosage of this medication will depend on your medical condition and how your body is responding to the therapy. In children, the dose depends on their weight and height.
