Ascodex Plus Syrup is used to reduce chest congestion caused by the infections, common cold or allergies. Being an expectorant, it works by loosening congestion in the throat and chest, making it easier to cough out through the mouth.

Guaifenesin being an expectorant, it works by loosening congestion in your throat and chest, making it easier to cough out through the mouth. Bromhexine treats chest congestion and works by breaking mucus down so that it is easier to cough out. Diphenhydramine is used against hypersensitive reactions, as antiparkinson, as hypnotic and in drugs against the common cold. It is a histamine H1 antagonist and has sedative effect on patients. Ammonium Chloride helps in relieving cough. Menthol works by triggering the TRPM8 receptors in the skin that are cold-sensitive. It does that by blocking calcium currents of the neuronal membrane.
