About Asenapt 10Mg Tablet

Asenapt 10Mg Tablet is an atypical antipsychotic that is used to treat schizophrenia. It is used along with valproate and lithium to treat manic episodes. It works by inhibiting the secretion of certain chemicals in the body.

You should not use Asenapt 10Mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. If you are taking other antipsychotic medicines, an antiarrhythmic like sotalol and procainamide, then Asenapt 10Mg Tablet is not to be taken as well. This is also the case if you have an irregular heartbeat or suffer from severe liver problems.

The tablet of Asenapt 10Mg Tablet must be taken whole and not chewed or crushed. Nothing must be drunk or eaten ten minutes after you have taken the medicine. Try to take it every day and at the same time to get the most benefits out of it.

Some of the side effects that may be seen as a result of taking Asenapt 10Mg Tablet may be weight gain, dizziness, upset stomach, insomnia, restlessness, joint aches and temporary numbness around the mouth area.
