Astemizole, is an antihistamine which prevents sneezing, running nose, itching and watering of the eyes and other allergic symptoms. It treats allergies, hives like urticarial and other inflammatory allergic conditions.
This medication should not be taken in case you are already taking medicines like an antifungal drug, an antibiotic, malaria medicine quinine. There could be drug interactions, causing irregular heart-beats.
