Ativan 2 MG Tablet falls under a class of psychoactive drugs known as benzodiazepine. Ativan 2 MG Tablet is sold under the trade name of Ativan. It is given to people with anxiety disorders. It also used for sleeping disorder, seizures, surgery.

Ativan 2 MG Tablet is also used to treat acute coronary syndrome arising out of cocaine use. It can be administered orally or by injecting it into the muscle or vein.
