ATORLIP ASP 10 MG CAPSULE is prescribed as an adjunct to diet for the reduction of total and LDL cholesterol. It also may be used in hypercholesterolemic patients without clinically evident heart disease to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, to reduce the risk for revascularization, and reduce the risk of death due to cardiovascular causes.
ATORLIP ASP 10 MG CAPSULE belongs to a group of drugs known as statins. It reduces the level of low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol in the body. It also helps in curing various conditions like narrowing of arteries that arises due to high cholesterol levels in the body.
It can also reduce the amount of liver fat in the body. This drug is also used to lower the risk of stroke, heart attack or coronary heart diseases.

- Cholestyramine reduces absorption of several HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors; separate administration times by at least 4 hours.
