About Azildac 40Mg Tablet

Azildac tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker which helps in treating high blood pressure. It prevents heart attacks, strokes and kidney problems. This medication works by relaxing blood vessels to allow blood to flow more easily. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient present in Azildac or if you are pregnant.

Avoid using this medication if you have diabetes or kidney problems. If you suffer from dehydration problems or any heart problems let your doctor know before starting the medicine. Also inform him if you have a history of angioedema or electrolyte problems. Some products that interact with this drug include lithium, aliskiren, ACE inhibitors including birth control pills containing drospirenone and benazepril.

    How does this medication work?

    This medication is used in the treatment of hypertension. This drug inhibits the angiotensin II type 1 receptor, thus stopping angiotensin II from binding and resulting in vasoconstriction. It remains tightly attached to AT1 receptors for a very long duration.
