Bfn Eye Drop reduces pain in the eyes as well as swelling around them, in patients who have just undergone cataract surgery. Known to be a NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug), it is available in the form of an eye drop. The drug functions by preventing prostaglandin production. This is a drug which causes swelling and pain around the eyes.
Bfn Eye Drop should not be used by women who are in their last trimester of pregnancy. The drug can also prove to be harmful for those who are allergic to it. How does this medication work?
Bfn Eye Drop is a topical, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for ophthalmic use. It blocks prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting Cyclooxygenase 2 preferably and Cyclooxygenase 1 weakly. This reduces intraocular inflammation and pain after undergoing cataract surgery.
