Bolstran 150mg Injection

Bolstran 150mg Injection aids in the treatment of asthma and chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU). It may be prescribed to asthma patients of 6 years and above. It helps in the treatment of moderate to even severe asthma. Although, it will not help to treat other types of allergies and acute bronchospasm. The drug is meant to treat CIU in adults as well as children above the age of 12 years.

To treat asthma, about 75 mg to 375 mg of the drug may be administered in the form of an injection every couple of weeks. In case of adults the dosage may vary as per the weight of the patient.

To treat CIU, about 150 mg to 300 mg of the drug may be administered in the form of an injection every 4 weeks. Treatment with the drug may be continued unless sufficient improvement is witnessed in the patient.
