About Budamate 400 Transhaler
Budamate is a combination of Formoterol, Budesonide which is widely used for treating asthma. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This medication is a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the airways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.
If you are allergic to milk protein or to any ingredient in this medication, do not use it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes, low blood potassium levels, heart problems, blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, an adrenal gland tumour, seizures, or thyroid problems. Some medicines may interact with the action of this medication. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines.

How does this medication work?
This medication has bronchodilatory properties and works by selectively binding to beta-2 adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscles. This results in the activation of intracellular adenyl cyclase which catalyses the conversion of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to cyclic-3'',5''-adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and leads to bronchodilation.
