Candid suspension is a broad-spectrum antifungal that treats skin infections. The infections include dandruff and other seborrheic dermatitis of scalp & tinea versicolor.
It is also effective in the treatment of yeast and fungal infections of the vagina, mouth, and skin. This medication inhibits ergosterol production that hampers the development of cell membrane of fungi.
This drug results in side effects commonly the application site reactions, which includes burning, irritation, itching, skin rash, and redness of skin.
