About Cansoft-CL Suppository

Cansoft is a combination medicament which contains Clindamycin and Clotrimazole. It treats bacterial infections specifically vaginal infection. Do not take this medication if –

    How does this medication work?

    This medication belongs to the class lincosamide. It works by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome thus inhibits the protein synthesis in the bacteria and stops the growth of the bacteria. This medication also has both fungistatic and fungicidal actions. It binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters it''s permeability.
