This medication is composed of Diacerein, Glucosamine and Methyl Sulfonyl Methane. It is anti-inflammatory analgesic and antipyretic drug that is used to treat problems such as joint diseases and osteoarthritis. The medicine helps to minimize the friction and roughness between the joints. It also has properties that are known for improving cartilage strength.

Do not use this drug if you are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients. Exercise caution if you have severe kidney problems. The tablet is usually taken with food, twice in a day for 2-4 weeks. When it is taken with food, the rate of absorption is increased by almost 25%.

This medication is a prodrug that works by reducing cartilage destruction. It blocks the interleukin-1 beta protein’s action that is responsible for the destruction of cartilage and inflammation causing osteoarthritis like degenerative joint disorders. The drug is specific in action and does not inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin.
