About Cartisafe D Tablet
Cartisafe is anti-inflammatory analgesics and antipyretic drug that is used to treat problems such as joint diseases like osteoarthritis. This medication is composed of Diacerein, Glucosamine and Methylsulfonylmethane. It helps to minimize the friction and roughness between the joints.
If you are hypersensitive to this medication or any of its ingredients, then it should not be prescribed. If you have severe kidney problems, you should take half the usual dosage. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding or patients who suffer from liver diseases should not use this medication.

How does this medication work?
This medication is composed of Diacerein, Glucosamine and Methylsulfonylmethane. It is a prodrug that metabolizes to rhein that is works by reducing cartilage destruction. This drug blocks the interleukin-1 beta protein’s action that is responsible for destruction of cartilage and inflammation causing osteoarthritis like degenerative joint disorders. The drug is specific in action and does not inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin.
