About Cefakind-Cv 500 Tablet

This tablet is an anti-biotic drug that a part of the class of medicines called cephalosporin. This broad spectrum antibiotic is useful in treating a wide variety of infections that are caused by bacteria. It is used in the treatment of conditions such as acute or chronic bronchitis, tonsillitis, Lyme disease, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, pneumonia, laryngitis, sinusitis and urinary tract infections. This drug is also used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, cervix, pelvis, urethra, skin, middle ear and nasal passage.

This tablet works by creating a hostile environment for the bacteria to survive. It damages the cell walls of bacteria, prevents the growth of bacteria and therefore eliminates the bacterial infection.

    This tablet works via a dual mechanism and includes medicine Cefuroxime and Clavulanic Acid. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. Cefuroxime works as a bactericidal by inhibiting the bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins which would inhibit the growth and multiplication of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid works as a beta-lactamase inhibitor by binding to beta-lactamase enzyme produced by bacterial cells, which in turn inhibits its enzymatic action and prevents beta-lactam antibiotics from being metabolized by the enzyme.
