Belonging to the drug group known as cephalosporin antibiotics, Cefeprime 500 MG Injection treats high fever having a greater risk of an infection, due to the low white blood cell count. The medication kills the bacteria, thus preventing the infection from spreading in the body. It is administered by an injection into a vein or a muscle, as instructed by your doctor.
