About Cepodem-O Tablet

Cepodem tablets are used for treating mild infections caused by bacteria. Most commonly, it is used to treat infections like bronchitis, urinary tract infections, infections that develop in the ear, throat, or nose, and gonorrhoea. It treats these infections by not the bacteria from growing further. This medication can be taken for anywhere between 5 – 14 days, depending on the severity of one’s infection.

This medication requires a prescription for you to be able to buy and use it. It belongs to 3rd generation cephalosporins. It works as a bactericidal by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins and inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
