An antibiotic drug Cetil 1.5 GM Injection is a part of the class of medicines called cephalosporin. This broad spectrum antibiotic cures wide variety of infections that are caused by bacteria. It is used in the treatment of conditions such as acute or chronic bronchitis, tonsillitis, Lyme disease, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, pneumonia, laryngitis, sinusitis and urinary tract infections. This medication also treats bacterial infections of the throat, cervix, pelvis, urethra, skin, middle ear and nasal passage.

Cetil 1.5 GM Injection creates a hostile environment for the bacteria to survive. It damages the cell walls of bacteria, prevents the growth of bacteria and therefore eliminates the bacterial infection.

Cetil 1.5 GM Injection intervenes in the bacteria’s process of forming cell walls. The cell walls of the bacteria are essential for their survival. It protects the contents of the cell from leaking out. This antibiotic damages the bond that keeps the cell wall in one piece. Therefore, Cetil 1.5 GM Injection causes holes to appear in the cell wall, making it impossible for the bacteria to survive. In this way, by destroying bacteria and inhibiting the reproduction of bacterial cells, the antibiotic is effective in eliminating bacterial infections.

It is possible to overdose on this medication.
