As an antihistamine, Choliv 2 Mg/275 Mg Syrup helps in treating allergy symptoms caused by seasonal allergies, food or blood such as watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or itching eyes or nose. It blocks natural substances like serotonin and histamine that your body makes during an allergic reaction. It also helps in curing mild, uncomplicated hives.

During treatment with this syrup, you may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth, nose or throat as side effects. People also faces side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen.

This syrup is not prescribed for people who have an allergic reaction to it, women who are breast-feeding, a newborn baby or premature infant, an elderly person, those who have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, a peptic ulcer or bladder, stomach, or bowel blockage. If you are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, do not take this medicine.
