About Cip-Zox Tablet
Cipzox Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of muscle spasm pain usually associated with musculoskeletal conditions. Cip Zox Tablet medicine contains muscle relaxant in combination with NSAID.
It works by blocking pain sensations or nerve impulses that are sent to the brain. Medicine when used together with rest and physical therapy can treat skeletal muscle conditions such as injury or pain.
Avoid using medicine if you are allergic to it or if you are taking sodium oxybate. Inform your doctor if you have or you are:
- pregnant
- Planning to become pregnant
- Breast-feeding
- liver problems
- Blood disease called porphyria.
Stop using medicine and consult your doctor if you experience any serious side effects including black, bloody, or tarry stools, nausea, itching, fainting, upper stomach pain, dark urine, loss of appetite and clay-coloured stools.

How does this medication work?
Cipzox Tab is a muscle relaxant that is used to treat the muscle spasms and the pain caused by the same. No mechanism of action has been determined for the medication as of yet, but the drug suppresses the central nervous system to produce the desired effects. On the other hand, it inhibits an enzyme named Cyclooxygenase which is responsible for the formation of prostaglandin. Prostaglandin is a major contributor to the process of inflammation and pain sensation in the body.
