About Citinerve P Tablet

Citinerve P Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of acute stroke. This medicine is a combination of Citicoline and Piracetam. As a medicine, it is taken orally as a dietary supplement. This medication has also been found to influence the cognitive abilities and improve nerve transmission.

Citicoline is a chemical that naturally occurs in the body which is responsible for regulating many vital processes in the brain as well in as the body. Whereas Piracetam is structurally similar to aminobutyric acid and it improves & facilitates microcirculation in the blood vessels.

Citinerve P Tablet works by increasing a brain chemical called phosphatidylcholine which improves brain function. Citinerve P Tablet also decreases brain tissue damage during a brain injury by repairing damaged nerve cells.

It is also used for treating alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia, cerebrovascular disease such as stroke, head trauma, age-related memory loss, attention deficit-hyperactive disorder, parkinson’s disease, and glaucoma.

You are advised to not take this medicine if you have an allergy towards any of its ingredients or if you suffer from hypertonia. It is also not recommended for anyone who is 18 years of age or younger.

Medicines like levodopa and meclofenoxate can interfere with the action of Citinerve P Tablet so inform your doctor if you are taking these medicines before starting the medication. This medicine can be taken with or after food. Adequate amounts of fluids should be consumed while taking this medicine.

      This medicine is not recommended for use in patient having abnormal muscle tension and stiffness due to nerve damage in the brain. This condition is also present in people who have had a brain surgery to remove certain specific nerves.

    • Pediatric Use

      This medicine is not recommended for use in children who are aged 18 or below.

    • Cerebral Hemorrhage

      This medication is not recommended for use if you have a ruptured blood vessel and localized bleeding in the brain.

    • Huntington's Disease

      This medication is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a genetic disorder where the brain cell die quickly causing a deterioration of mental and physical abilities over time.
