About Cladribine
Cladribine belongs to a class of cancer-fighting drugs called antineoplastics, and is used for the control, prevention and treatment of a specific type of blood cancer known as hairy cell leukemia. It works by effectively preventing the growth of cancer cells in the body, thus eventually resulting in their destruction.
Cladribine is administered intravenously via injection, and is usually given for a total of seven days by continuous infusion.
