CLEXANE
- Clexane injection is known to contain enoxaparin which is beneficial for stopping formation of blot clots within blood vessels. Mostly this injection is administered to treat blood clots in veins, lungs, in coronary arteries in unstable angina, and blood clotting in artificial kidney machine. Clexane is administered under the abdomen skin and the dose generally depends on the nature of the clot. Caution should be taken for patients who are over 80, underweight or overweight, with decreased liver and kidney function, are known to have a history of peptic ulcer and have high potassium levels in blood. Bleeding, irritation at injection site, reduced platelet count, dead skin cells and blood clots in spinal cords are some of the side effects of this injection.

Probably you have developed a deep vein thrombosis of the leg veins in the postoperative period. You can request for a second physicians opinion for its treatment.
