About COF Q Tablet

COF Q Tablet is used to provide symptomatic relief of those respiratory conditions where tenacious mucous plugs and congestion complicate the problem such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, asthma, and as adjunctive therapy in serous otitis media.

The medication is composed of Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine, Guaifenesin, Phenylephrine and Paracetamol. It is used for treating common cold symptoms. It clears mucus from the respiratory tract and also treats chest congestion.

The tablet works by breaking mucus down so that it is easier to cough out. It also provides temporary control of cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation. Take only as prescribed by your doctor. Do not exceed prescribed dose or frequency.

Patients with a history of peptic ulceration, asthma and severe hepatic or renal impairment should take extra precautions during the course of their treatment. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding a baby.
