About Cyp-L Syrup

This medication is a combination medication containing an antihistamine, a laxative and a bile acid-binding agent. It used to treat loss of appetite. This medication performs its action by blocking natural substances like serotonin and histamine. It is made in the body during an allergic reaction. Also, it treats mild, uncomplicated hives.

This medicine must not be given to the people who have-

During treatment with this medicine, you may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth, nose or throat as side effects. Some people may also experience serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rarely seen.

If you are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, do not take this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your medical conditions and other medications you are taking. The dosage is based on your age, weight, medical condition, body size and response to treatment.

Self-medication or suggesting your medication to anyother person must not be supported. Adjustment of dose might be needed in patients suffering from hepatic or renal impairment. Patient must consult to the doctor before dosing himself with it.
