D Montus 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is used to relieve hay fever and allergy symptoms, including sneezing; runny nose; and red, itchy, tearing eyes. It is also used to treat hives. D Montus 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is in a class of medications called antihistamines.Also used to treat skin hives and itching in people with chronic skin reactions.It works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.
Side effects: Dry mouth, sore throat, cough, muscle pain, drowsiness, tired feeling, diarrhea, headache.
Serious side effects may include: Uneven heartbeat, fever, seizure(convulsions), jaundice(yellowing of the skin or eyes), flu symptoms.
Precautions: Before taking this medication inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to desloratadine or any other medications.Also inform about the prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements and herbal products you are taking
