About D-Venizep 50Mg/0.5Mg Tablet

D Venizep Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor in combination with antiepileptic. It is used to treat major depression symptoms which may include feelings of sadness, decreased energy level, loss of interest in daily activities or trouble sleeping.

These symptoms last for two weeks or longer. This antidepressant also improves your mood, energy level and feelings of well-being. It works by helping to restore the balance of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. This drug slowly releases into the body over time.

Your dosage of this medication will depend on your age, medical condition and how you react to the first dose. Do not take D Venizep Tablet if you are:

  • Allergic to any ingredient in D-Venizep 50Mg/0.5Mg Tablet or to venlafaxine.
  • Taking or have taken linezolid or St. John's wort within the last 14 days.
  • Taking a fenfluramine derivative, nefazodone, sibutramine, or tryptophan.
  • Taking another medicine that contains venlafaxine or desvenlafaxine.

D-Venizep 50Mg/0.5Mg Tablet works by maintaining the level of certain chemicals in the brain which affects the mood and behaviour of the patient. Thus, it helps in alleviating the mood, as well as relives the anxiety of the patient. It also helps in improving the sleeping experience and also the energy levels of the patient.

It may take several weeks for D-Venizep 50Mg/0.5Mg Tablet to show its effect and patient might feel low during this initial phase of the medicine intake. It is advised to take this medicine regularly to make them work effectively. You must not stop taking it unless your doctor told you about it.
