About Diprovate Plus Lotion

Diprovate lotion, which works as a steroid, is a part of the glucocorticoid group of medicines. It is the same as the hormones that are produced naturally by the adrenal gland of the human body. It is effective against several rheumatoid ailments, arthritis, it can bring down inflammation, and can also reduce symptoms of skin allergies and skin problems like dermatitis or scalp psoriasis and eye infections.

It has two components- betamethasone and Zinc sulphate. Betamethasone does the work of some chemicals when they are not produced sufficiently in the body. It stops allergies by not allowing the body to react to the allergens. Zinc Sulphate promotes the health of the tissues of the body and boosts immunity.

Doctors will advise you not take this drug if you are suffering from any infection but it is untreated. Diprovate lotion reacts with many other medications. You should not take this medicine for prolonged periods of time because that might lead to reduced secretion from the adrenal gland. The dosage and duration of the medication will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your condition.
