Doxosafe 100/5 MG/ML Syrup is a xanthine derivative drug used in the treatment of asthma and other obstructive diseases. It is a potent bronchodilator and helps relax the smooth muscles of the airway leading to the lung. This medication is used as a maintenance treatment for wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness associated with lung diseases like asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and other diseases related to the respiratory system. Though a specialised drug there are a few side effects to this drug such as palpation or increase in heart beat, nausea, dizziness, insomnia and slight headaches.
