Drotin Plus Tablet

Drotin Plus Tablet is an effective medicine to treat twitches or spasm of the smooth muscles usually in the stomach and heart. This medication is also used for chest pain, abdominal pain, gallstones pain in the kidneys, pain in renal colic and other conditions.

People having allergic reactions, woman who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised to avoid taking this medicine. The possible side-effects of Drotin Plus Tablet that may occur on using this medicine are

Take exactly as directed (do not increase dose or frequency); most adverse effects are related to excessive use. Take with food or milk. Drotin Plus Tablet works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase-IV enzymes and helping in restoring the balance of cyclic AMP and calcium ions at the site of spasm at smooth muscles. Also, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals.

  Excessive intake of alcohol may increase the risk of acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity; avoid or limit alcohol intake.

  May slightly delay absorption of extended-release preparations; rate of absorption may be decreased when given with food high in carbohydrates.
