About Dubagest 300 MG Capsule

Dubagest 300 MG Capsule is a medication that is used in hormone replacement therapy. This means that it is orally administered into women’s bodies when they do not produce enough progesterone. It reduces menopause symptoms and the risk of cancer of the uterus.

It corrects menstrual disorders in women and can also be used as contraception. Dubagest 300 MG Capsule, belonging to a group of medications called Progestins, works by inducing some changes in endometrium and decreasing the level of estrogen in the uterus.

There are few side effects of using Dubagest 300 MG Capsule. Some of them include nausea, diarrhoea, mood swings, abdominal pain, flatulence, rash, itching, sleepiness, vomitting and dizziness. More serious side effects may include chest pain and discomfort, difficulty in passing urine, great lumps, fever and chills, blurred or loss of vision and convolutions.

      This medicine is used along with estrogen in women who have achieved menopause, but haven't undergone a surgery to remove the uterus (hysterectomy).

    • Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

      This medicine is also used to treat abnormal bleeding from the vagina due to changes in hormone levels but are not caused by a pregnancy or miscarriage.

    • Endometrial Hyperplasia

      This medicine is used to prevent this condition where the female sex hormones are imbalanced and heavy bleeding or intermittent bleeding between periods are experienced.

    • Progesterone Deficiency

      This medicine is used to treat a condition where progesterone level in the body is low and as a result the risk of miscarriage is very high.

    • Premenstrual Syndrome
