DUONASE

Duonase is a nasal spray which is used to treat allergic rhinitis and some non-allergic vasomotor rhinitis. It contains Asselstine Hydrochloride BP 140 mcg + Fluticasone Propionate 50 mcg. It should not be used with alcohol or other nervous system depressants, and patients with lung tuberculosis, fungal and viral infections should not take it. It can cause side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, epistaxis and nasal burning.

Hi my nose is always blocked due to which I am facing breathing problem specially in night I had a ct pns it says All paranasal sinuses are clear. Thickened inferior turbinate seen in the right nasal cavity could be a spectrum of nasal cycle. Mild deviation of nasal septum towards right side is observed. Doctor says I should go for surgery or laser Can it be cured by any medicines,

If nasal block is only on right side and no sneezing/running nose then it can be due to dns to rt but your ct report says only mild dns which should not cause such problem. Take second opinion of a ent spe and follow their advise. If dns is the cause then surgery is only option.

I am 40 years of male and suffering from sinus and cold cough in head and my mind is blocked and I feel that I will get mad if I will not get proper treatment.

Start tab. Allegra-m daily at bed time and flomist nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day along with that steam inhalation twice a day. Do all this for 2 weeks. U may require ct scan after that to rule out any local pathology.

I m having frequent cold, sneezing, sensitivity in nose usually in morning. If i have more of the cold things in eating or drinking my throat gets soar or if i get hot and cold then too my throat starts to have irritation.Please help

I am a 25 year male and suffering from nose allergy. Every morning when I get up, I sneeze 3 to 4 times. What should I do?

You need to avoid dust, ac and other allergic substances. You can take duonase nasal spray twice a day. Tab montair-fx once daily for 15 days when symptoms are present.

I am 34 yr old male. Left nasal passage feels blocked almost all the time. Lying on right side while sleeping gives immediate relief. Also, otrivin/ mucoris drops also provide temporary relief. Probe check did not reveal anything. Minor middle bone deviation which in ent' s opinion was not the cause. Problem was attributed to allergy leading to sinus inflammation. However, I doubt it as the problem is perennial in all conditions and has been so for many years. Request advice.

It could be due to inflammation and edema of sinus mucosa due to allergy that further causes obstruction to the sinus drainage. Start tab. Allegra-m daily 1 at bed time and duonase nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day along with that steam inhalation twice a day for 2-3 weeks. Get a ct scan done to find out any underlying pathology.

I am suffering from cough and congestion from five months and having tickling irritation in my throat with sputum reflux with breath and left sinus hazy. It feels cough is going back from the throat sometimes. Every test done is normal but left sinus comes hazy. Ige test was 900. Please response me what is it and how is it cured. My ent specialist says it' s allergic. I am diabetic too. But nowadays it' s controlled with fasting 98.

As your total ige is raised it is more likely allergic rhinitis with sinusitis. Take telekast f 1tab/day with breakfast and duonase nasal spray.

I have a problem with my throat. Most of the time, I do spit here and there. The saliva coming from my mouth is actually coming from my throat and its bit extra thick than normal. On weather change I easily get my throat infected and it goes worst lead to cough and cold. My cough dint go before 2 to 3 week and its very pain full. My main problem is regular formation of thick saliva in my throat, and due to that I keep spiting here and there. During morning time its more. I am suffering from this more than 12 years. Few doctors I consulted gave some medicine for cough and cold which never helped me. I am late riser and can change that, and if I really wake up early I get headache and other stuff like burning sensation in my stomach running till my neck. Let me know if you can really help me thanks ravi a

Can be due to ch rhino sinusitis. Try montair lc 1 tab/day at bed time with duonase nasal sprey 1 sprey each nostril.

Hello, Two months back, It started with chest congestion and than fever. After about 15 days my doctor diagnosed as bronchitis. He gave me antibiotics,anti-allergy, and seroflo 250. After few days it settled and again came back with irritation in nose and throat. Again I had antibiotic course for 10 days. After 5 days I started with irritation on nose and throat area and fever. This time I had X-ray and found out sinusitis, and IgE levels 830. Doctor gave me glevo500 -antibiotic, levocitrizine-anti-allergy and furamist for 10 days.Please suggest what to do I am fed up of taking antibiotics

These are symptoms of nasobronchial allergy.Start tab.Montair-Fx at bed time and Duonase nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day for 2 -3 weeks.CT scan will be helpful to find out any underlying pathology.
