About Duphaston 10Mg Tablet
Duphaston 10Mg Tablet is primarily prescribed to treat female infertility. It also used to treat various menstural problems like irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), Painful periods and endometriosis.
This medicine is an artificial synthetic substitute of progesterone, a female hormone naturally produced by the body. It has the similar action to that of female hormone. This is a steroidal progestin. It contains Dydrogesterone as an active ingredient.
Duphaston 10Mg Tablet works by reducing the growth of the endometrium. The drug activates the progesterone receptors, which in turn helps normal shedding of the womb cells and promotes healthy growth.
This medicine helps to restart menses (periods) that have stopped well before the menopause and also aids to prevent unusal heavy periods. you must take this medicine for the prescribed period of time only.
Duphaston 10Mg Tablet is helpful against dysfunctional uterine bleeding and irregular cycles, hormone replacement therapy, abortion, miscarriage, infertility, premenstrual syndrome, recurring miscarriage due to progesterone deficiency and many other conditions.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age. It is also not recommended to the pregnant or breastfeeding women. The patient must ensure that the treatment is completed as it should not be stopped in between without consulting the doctor.
