This medication belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It reduces the level of low-density lipoprotein or “bad cholesterol” in the body. The capsule also helps in curing various conditions like narrowing of arteries that arises due to high cholesterol levels in the body. It can also reduce the amount of liver fat in the body.

This drug is lowers the risk of stroke, heart attack or coronary heart diseases. Use of this medicine must be as per directed by the doctor. It is harmful to use this drug if you are suffering from any liver diseases.
