About Eflora 13.9% Cream
This medication is used for slowing down or lessening the growth of facial hair in women. It is an enzyme inhibitor and works by blocking the enzyme required for facial hair to grow. Do not use this drug if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it. Before using this cream, tell your doctor if you are using any prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, or any other herbal and dietary pills and supplements.
The cream has to be applied to the affected areas of the face and/or the chin. You cannot wash the area for up to 4 hours after application of the cream. It is only for external use, so avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose or vaginal area. In some cases, side effects such as skin tingling, redness of the skin after application, or temporary burning and stinging at the affected area may occur.
