About EMTY ORAL SOLUTION

Emty solution is comprised of a synthetic sugar which is used for the treatment of chronic constipation. It gets broken down in the colon into mild acids that pull water from the body and release it into the colon. This solution is also used to prevent or treat certain brain conditions that are caused by liver failure.

You should not use this medication if you are on a special diet low in galactose. To make sure you can take this medicine, tell your doctor if you have other medical conditions, especially diabetes or if you need to have a colonoscopy.

For treatment of constipation it could be taken once in a day. In case of liver disease it could be taken three or four times in a day. Dosage will be recommended by the doctor.
