About Epilive 100 MG Syrup

Epilive 100 MG Syrup, an anticonvulsant, combined with other medicines helps in treating different types of seizures in adults and children who are suffering from epilepsy. This medication is also used to treat partial-onset (seizure affecting in one part of the brain), tonic-clonic (affecting your entire brain) and myoclonic (jerking/twitching of muscles) seizures in epileptic patients. It needs to be prescribed with caution to elderly people and children.

Epilive 100 MG Syrup helps in decreasing the abnormal activities that happens in the brain during seizure. The medicine is available in both liquid and tablet forms. It should be taken orally. Some medical conditions may have an interaction with this syrup. In case, you are planning a baby or you are pregnant, the doctor should be informed. Patients having any kidney disease, undergoing dialysis, allergies or having any history of mental conditions such as depression or suicidal tendencies, should be informed to the doctor before prescription of this medication.

The dosage of this medication is generally based on the medical condition of patient’s body. In case of children, the body weight is also taken under consideration. Doctor may prescribe you a low dose of this medication which will increased gradually, depending upon how your body responds. For best results, you can take this medication on a regular basis.
