About Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop

Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop, may cause nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, constipation, increased sweating, joint aches, sore throat, blurred vision, a strange taste in the mouth, diarrhoea, and dizziness. This may also increase your blood pressure.

Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop, is used to prevent the itching of the eyes, which is caused by allergies or conjunctivitis. It is an antihistamine. This works by blocking the release of histamine which reduces the symptoms of an allergic reaction.

Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medication or any related medicines. Please give all details to the doctor regarding the medications that you are taking so as to understand the drug interactions. You should not use this in case you are pregnant or lactating or if you are taking any herbal preparation or dietary supplements.

Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop, needs to be used in both the eyes, twice daily. It comes in the form of eye drops. Please remove contact lenses, before you put these drops. You should not wear contact lenses immediately, but after ten minutes. One must wash the hands well, before using the eye drops.

Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop causes burning, redness or headaches. One must notify the doctor if any of these symptoms persist. The medication may cause blurred vision, thus you should not drive or work on heavy machinery just immediately after you apply the medication.

    Epitane 0.05% Eye Drop is an antihistamine, which is used to treat conjunctivitis and is also used as a mast cell stabilizer. The medication prevents the histamine from binding to H1 and H2 receptors. It also ensures that the degranulation of mast cells is prevented.
