About Eplerenone

Eplerenone is used for the control, treatment and prevention of conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, and left ventricular systolic dysfunction. It works by blocking the effect of the aldosterone hormone which is responsible for raising blood pressure.

Do not use Eplerenone if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it. Before using Eplerenone tell your doctor if you are using any prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, or other herbal and dietary pills and supplements, if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, if you suffer from kidney or liver diseases, or if you have any upcoming surgeries. Possible side effects of Eplerenone include nausea, lightheadedness, headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hyperkalemia, and angina pectoris. Generally, these side effects should go away on their own after a limited period of time. In case the side effects fail to go away, you need to consult your doctor immediately.       Taking Eplerenone with alcohol may lead to headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, changes in pulse or heart rate and/or low blood pressure.
      Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

      Planep t tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
