About Febrex Plus Af 2 Mg/5 Mg Syrup

This medication belongs to the class of antihistamine. It works by blocking the action of adrenergic neurotransmitters in the body. The syrup is used for relieving symptoms of sinus pressure, sinus congestion, runny nose, itching of the throat and nose. It also cures watery eyes, and sneezing due to upper respiratory infections, hay fever and allergies.

You are advised to not take this syrup if you are allergic to it . Also avoid in case you are taking or have taken sodium oxybate, furazolidone or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Inform your doctor if you have breathing problems, glaucoma and heart disorders. Those who suffer from liver disease, high blood pressure and seizures should take extra precautions.

Common side effects include dizziness, confusion, anxiety, constipation, nausea, restlessness and blurred vision. Other rare side effects are dry mouth, decreased coordination, irritability, shallow breathing, hallucinations, tinnitus, problems with memory or concentration and trouble urinating.
