This drug helps in preventing the onset of gout by regulating the uric acid level in the blood. It is available in tablet form. The diet advised very correctly.
For medicines, if there r joint pains then only medicines required otherwise dietary measures will suffice.
If joint pains r there then take Febutaz/Feburic 40mg at bed time 1 tab for 3 months and recheck uric acid level after that and decide to continue the medicine or not depending upon the results.

Avoid foods rich in uric acid like nonveg foods including eggs, high protein foods, maida & maida products including bread, alcohol, tea coffee, veggies like spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, asparagus, brinjal.. fruits like chickoo & custardapple. If diet measures are inadequate, you can take medicines to reduce the uric acid
