About Fenticonazole
Fenticonazole is an antifungal drug used for treatment of vaginal thrush or vulvovaginal candidiasis. It works by killing the yeast fungus organisms like Canida spp, Canida albicans, malassezia furfur, and dermatophyte pathogens that cause the infection.
If you have any medical conditions, are allergic to medicines or any such substances, pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding, or if you are under the age of 18 years then it is advised that you should always consult a doctor before taking this drug. It is available as vaginal capsules and vaginal creams.
For the capsules, you may insert a 200mg pessary into your vagina, at night for three consecutive nights, or you may have 600mg at once in one night. If you are using the vaginal cream then use the applicator to insert 5gm of cream deep into your vagina. It should not be consumed orally under any circumstances.
