About Firmagon 120Mg Injection

Firmagon 120Mg Injection is a type of hormonal therapy that is used to treat prostate cancer. It is an artificial protein that helps in reducing the amount of some specific hormones in our body, especially testosterone which causes growth of the tumor. It works on the interaction of GnRH in the pituitary glands by blocking the Gnrh receptors which reduces luteinising hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and in turn results in decreased testosterone levels.

It is advised that you should not use Firmagon 120Mg Injection if you are allergic to it or any ingredient in it. You should also first consult your doctor before using it if you are pregnant, plan on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding, taking any medications, supplements or herbal preparations, have any heart rhythm disorder or any heart disease, kidney or liver disease, eletrolyte imbalance, or a family or personal history of Long QT syndrome.
