About Flucold Syrup

Flucold syrup is an antihistamine in combination with NSAID and alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist. It works by blocking the action of histamine and COX and potentiates the action of adrenergic neurotransmitter in the body. This syrup is a blend of Chlorpheniramine, Phenylephrine, Paracetamol and Sodium Citrate as active elements.

You can take this medication with or without food. This medicine is usually recommended only for a short time until your symptoms are cleared. Do not take it for longer than 7 days in a row.

    Flucold Syrup is a first-generation antihistamine, which is used to prevent allergic symptoms from conditions such as urticaria and rhinitis. This drug binds to the histamine H1 receptor, which prevents the action from endogenous histamine. Also, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals. Lastly, it acts as a nasal decongestant. It works by narrowing the swelling of blood vessels in the ear and nose, thereby providing great relief from discomfort.
