Flucos 150 MG Tablet

This medication is used in the treatment of meningitis which affects the membranes in the brain and spinal cord. It is a triazole antifungal that treats fungal infections like yeast infections in the mouth, throat, food pipe, lungs, vagina, etc.

It works by decreasing the production of ergosterol, which inhibits cell membrane formation in fungi. This medication is also preferred as a preventive medication in patients susceptible to fungal infections while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy before bone marrow transplantation.
