Fluticone is used to treat seasonal or perennial non-allergic or allergic nasal symptoms, such as blocked nose, runny nose, itchy nose, or sneezing. It could also be used to treat patients with itchy or watery eyes.

How does this medication work?
This medication is a synthetic corticosteroid which binds to the glucocorticoid receptor with high affinity. It is also thought to inhibit cytosolic phospholipase A2, which controls the biosynthesis of potent inflammation mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation.
