About Folvite 5 MG Tablet

Folvite 5 MG tablet contains a rich formulation of complex natural mixes known as Folic Acid (Vitamin B9). It is used to provide vitamin B9 to patients. This folic acid supplement tablet helps in the creation of red blood cells (RBCs), an amalgamation of DNA, and lifts the heart's health.

Folic Acid is necessary to make healthy new cells and to maintain some other very important functions of the body. This medication is primarily taken in case of a deficiency of Folate. It helps in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine which are necessary for the production of blood and its component.

The primary ingredient of this medication is folic acid. It is a naturally formed source of vitamin B, which is very important for different body functions. Folic Acid is a basic water dissolvable Vitamin for nucleotide biosynthesis and remethylation of homocysteine.

Other than this, it is also prescribed to cure anemia, kidney dialysis, alcoholism, liver disease, and the improper absorption of nutrients by the bowel. Folvite 5 MG tablet is advised to discuss your medical history with the doctor before using this drug.

Doses >0.1 mg/day may obscure pernicious anemia with continuing irreversible nerve damage progression. Resistance to treatment may occur with depressing hematopoiesis, alcoholism, and deficiencies of other vitamins.

Folic acid is necessary for the formation of a number of coenzymes in many metabolic systems, particularly for purine and pyrimidine synthesis; required for nucleoprotein synthesis and maintenance in erythropoiesis; stimulates WBC and platelet production in folate deficiency anemia.

Take as prescribed. Toxicity can occur from elevated doses. Do not self-medicate. Increase intake of foods high in folic acid (eg, dried beans, nuts, bran, vegetables, fruits) as recommended by the prescriber. Excessive use of alcohol increases the requirement for folic acid. May turn urine more intensely yellow. Report skin rash.
